DPRA is seeking a Deployment Strategist for fully remote, full-time role.  This position will lead end-to-end technical delivery of a production AI/ML predictive-analytics capability within a regulated U.S. Defense environment.  The role spans the full lifecycle of development, including data engineering, model development, secure platform implementation, operational monitoring, and user interface design.         

Essential Job Duties and Functions:
Project Management

  • Directs all phases of projects from initiation to completion, ensuring deliverables are on time, within budget and meet quality standards.
  • Defines project scope, creates detailed plans, manages resources and team, mitigates risks and maintains stakeholder satisfaction.
Technical Delivery Ownership   
  • Owns end to end delivery outcomes across the development and delivery of an AI/ML platform deployment and associated model buildout for a set of complex Defense uses cases.
  • Aligns scope and priorities directly with real U.S. Defense mission workflows and user adoption goals.
  • Ensures proper communication of program progress and management of technical and project risks associated with the deployment.
  • Partners with technical leads to coordinate container/Kubernetes-based deployments, CI/CD pipelines and automated environment provisioning. 
RMF/ATO & Compliance
  • Partners with cybersecurity stakeholders to progress RMF/ATO artifacts and evidence generation as an integrated part of delivery to ensure gaps are proactively managed and closed with engineering coordination to achieve the required ATO.
UX/UI & User Adoption
  • Ensures UX design team translates customer user needs into actionable UX requirements, oversees designers and front-end teams through iterative delivery cycles.
  • Ensures workflows are operationally aligned, usable, and adoptable by both customer stakeholders at all levels.
Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent practical experience in computer science, engineering, data science or related discipline
  • 10+ years' experience in technical management, with demonstrated success in managing technically oriented deployments and supervising personnel. 8+ years of experience if obtained a relevant Master's degree
  • 5+ years managing technology deployment programs to the federal government
  • Demonstrated RMF/ATO experience: evidence planning, remediation coordination, and continuous monitoring alignment.
  • Technical familiarity in cloud fundamentals, containers/Kubernetes, CI/CD and operational observability
  • Experience delivering AI/ML analytics solutions into production, including defining quality gates and operating metrics (performance, stability, drift/decay)
  • Experience with UX/UI delivery through iterative design, user feedback loops, and cross-functional collaboration
  • Strong communication skills - be able to brief senior leaders and run technical working sessions with operators and engineers
  • PMP or equivalent project management certification
  • Willingness to travel as needed
  • Must be a U.S. citizen with an Active DoD security clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
  • IL 6/DISA SRG familiarity: understanding of SECRET-class enclave constraints, environment promotion, and operational handoffs in classified contexts
  • Prior experience leading platform or release governance with strict release readiness evidence requirements
  • Prior experience implementing AI/ML models in secure of classified environments, including navigating data handling constraints, model validation requirements, and deployment approvals
  • AWS certification, CompTIA Security+ or cloud security specialization
